Venue for Mundan, Annaprashan & Naming Ceremonies in Gurugram

Family ceremonies bring three generations together — grandparents who need a comfortable seat, parents juggling a baby, and a crowd of cousins who get restless during rituals. Just Goofing gives each of them what they need: a warm setup and fresh food for the family, a calm corner for the baby, and supervised play zones for the children.

Ceremonies we host

  • Mundan — the celebration and family meal after the first-haircut ritual
  • Annaprashan — your baby's first-food ceremony with close family
  • Naming ceremonies — a relaxed welcome for your newest family member
  • Family get-togethers, reunions and grandparents-in-town lunches

How families usually plan it

Many families complete the ritual itself at home or at a temple with their priest, then come to us for the celebration and meal. Others prefer a small puja on site. Tell us what your tradition needs — including any diyas, incense or havan — and we'll confirm what's possible in our indoor venue before you book.

Plan around the baby: a late-morning start, a quiet place to feed and rest, and a celebration of two to three hours keeps everyone happy.

Food for the occasion

Our in-house kitchen plans the menu with you. Most families choose vegetarian food for these ceremonies; tell us if you need it satvik, Jain or without onion and garlic, and share any allergies among your guests. The kitchen cooks with olive oil and is nut-free.

Frequently asked questions

Can we hold a puja at the venue?

Tell us exactly what the ritual involves when you enquire. We'll confirm what we can accommodate indoors — many families do the ritual at home or a temple and celebrate with us afterwards.

Can the kitchen make a satvik or Jain menu?

Yes. Share your menu requirements when you enquire and our kitchen will plan around them.

How many guests can attend?

Tell us your adult and child numbers when you enquire and we'll suggest the right format and space for your group.

Is there something for the children to do?

Yes — the play zones are supervised by trained guides, so cousins and siblings can play while the family celebrates.
